Welcome to Mighty Uke Day 17!

We are pleased to announce Mighty Uke Day 17 (MUD XVII), to be held April 30 - May 2, 2027 at the University United Methodist Church in East Lansing, MI. 

Teaching Artists/Performers include; Herb Ohta Jr., Lil' Rev, Amber Rozel, Bryan Tolentino, The Fabulous Heftones, The Dangling Participles, and the Hoaloha Polynesian Dance Group, along with others TBA. We will feature concerts, workshops, strums, open mic, and more.

TICKETS
Despite ever-rising costs, we have held the line on pricing. The Standard [STP] and Student [STU] ticket packages include your choice of workshops, Friday and Saturday evening concerts, and all other activities including group strums, open mics, etcetera. As an extra bonus, these packages also include a pass to our Sunday afternoon Acoustic Afterglow concert.

Tickets for the Friday and Saturday evening concerts as well as the Sunday afternoon Acoustic Afterglow concert are available à la carte.

A NOTE ABOUT WORKSHOPS: You do not have to sign up in advance for workshops, just go to whichever one you wish. Once we announce the workshop schedule, we will send out a survey for you to list which classes you may want to take so we can assign the proper size rooms. There is no obligation to attend the particular classes you choose, but it gives us a ballpark estimate of the number of attendees we need to plan for each workshop.

The SpringHill Suites by Marriott is a modern beautiful facility just a short walk away from the University United Methodist Church where Mighty Uke Day 17 will be held. We have a number of rooms set aside for the festival nights of April 30 and May 1 with a lesser number for April 29 & May 2. We have negotiated a special rate of $135 per night (+ taxes) for King rooms with a sleeper sofa and a trundle bed and a lesser amount of Queen rooms with two queens, sleeper sofa, and trundle bed. Covid Policy

Mighty Uke Day 16 staff and workshop/concert attendees are required to adhere to all protocols laid out by the venue and/or the State of Michigan at the time of the festival which may include a requirement to be fully masked (covering the nose and mouth) whenever possible and in the presence of others. 

Although not required, we do highly recommend vaccination; for your health and peace of mind as well as others. Above all, please be mindful and considerate of your fellow attendees who may have a different comfort level than you; it's the ukulele way!
