We are pleased to announce Mighty Uke Day 14 (MUD XIV), to be held May 10 - 12, 2024 at the University United Methodist Church in East Lansing, MI. Teaching Artists/Performers include; Craig Chee, Abe Lagrimas Jr., Cynthia Lin, and Sarah Maisel along with others TBA. We will feature concerts, workshops, strums, open mic, and more.TICKETSThe Standard [STP], VIP [VIP], and Student [STU] ticket packages include your choice of workshops, Friday and Saturday evening concerts, and all other activities including group strums, open mics, etcetera. As an extra benefit for 2024, these packages also include a pass to our Sunday afternoon Acoustic Afterglow concert. Tickets for the Friday and Saturday evening concerts as well as the Sunday afternoon Acoustic Afterglow concert are available à la carte.
A NOTE ABOUT WORKSHOPS: You do not have to sign up in advance for workshops, just go to whichever one you wish. Once we announce the workshop schedule, we will send out a survey for you to list which classes you may want to take so we can assign the proper size rooms. There is no obligation to attend the particular classes you choose, but it gives us a ballpark estimate of the number of attendees we need to plan for each workshop.OFFICIAL MIGHTY UKE DAY 14 HOTELNOTE (as of 2/29/24): Our bank of allotted rooms is more than sold out. We have negotiated a special rate of $109 per night (+ taxes) for King rooms with a sleeper sofa and a trundle bed and a lesser amount of Queen rooms with two queens, sleeper sofa, and trundle bed . The Hyatt House Lansing is a beautiful new hotel with all the amenites including free breakfast, other on-site dining, pet-friendly, and more. It is located about 5 - 10 minutes from the University United Methodist Church. Pricing for the nights of May 9, 10, and 11th is $129 per night, use this link to register at the special rate. A great place to stay if you want to get away from all the ruckus for the evening, but still quite close by. (NOTE: queen and king rooms are available for Friday and Saturday night, but king rooms only for Thurs/Fri/Sat.)

Mighty Uke Day 14 staff and workshop/concert attendees are required to adhere to all protocols laid out by the venue and/or the State of Michigan at the time of the festival which may include a requirement to be fully masked (covering the nose and mouth) whenever possible and in the presence of others.
Although not required, we do highly recommend vaccination; for your health and peace of mind as well as others. Above all, please be mindful and considerate of your fellow attendees who may have a different comfort level than you; it's the ukulele way!
